Hi All,
since end of last week I have a really frustrating error on just one site collection when I try to publish or modify a SharePoint 2013 workflow (Workflow Manager). I have SharePoint 2013 Enterprise (onPremise) with several Site Collections using
Workflow Manager workflows. But only on this one Site Collection the (2013) workflow stopped working and I cannot start, assign, edit or pulish any other SharePoint 2013 workflow. At "Add a Workflow" page there are only SharePoint
2010 Workflows listed. When I try to change the start option for an already asigned SharePoint 2013 workflow I get the error "Please select a workflow template". The 2010 Workflows are working and editable.
When I try to republish that workflow or a completely new one with only one single activity using SharePoint Designer then I get always the same error message:
"'/SharePoint/default/13072147-9e59-44c0-87d3-e36601fe6e46/03c029e3-6088-472b-8149-70a1787556b8' is not in an updatable state. Its current state is 'Unregistered'"
In the log file I can see that error and the additional information:
"Workflow revision number mismatch! Current workflow store revision is 428 and workflow host scope has revision 0"
There are several treads regarding that "unregistered" error. All have the same solution to re-register the workflow service. Until now I have already done this:
- Re-register the workflow service
- Fully reinstall the workflow Manager
- Checked the CU of Workflow Manager (CU 2) and SharePoint 2013 (CU June 2015)
None of them gave the solution for me. The Site Collection still seems to be disconnected from Workflow Manager. Do you know how can I solve this "unregistered" / "Revision number mismatch" error?
Thanks in advice for any hint.
