Windown Platform installer fails installing Workflow Manager 1.0...
Hello there,
I am busy installing Workflow Manager 1.0 using the instructions at...

having clicked the link at the contextual installation link.
After the following the prompts the installation begins and after a bit a screen is displayed stating...
"We're sorry. The following products have failed to install.
Microsoft Windows Fabric V1 RTM
This product did not install successfully. Downloaded file failed signature verification and may have been tampered with."
As a result Service Bus 1.0 and Workflow Manager 1.0 failed to install.
I tried to install again and got the same issue.
I recently installed it in another environment without issues.
Any ideas?

How to disable single task default email in Visual Studio Workflow Manager ?
Hello Everyone,
I am using Visual Studio 2013 to create workflow in sharepoint hosted app.
I have used single task activity to assign task to user and used send email activity to send email to respective user.
In couple of environment it worked as i wanted.
But in specific environment, Two email are being sent to user.
1). From single task activity default email.
2). Send email activity.
So i want to disable default email of single task activity.
Or how can i disable default email of single task activity in that specific environment.
Any guidance or help appreciated.

call HTTP web service getting System.ApplicationException: HTTP 500 sharepoint 2013 designer
i have designed a SPD 2013 workflow. where i am reading list item by call HTTP web service. i am getting System.ApplicationException: HTTP 500 sharepoint 2013 designererror.
though i am able use Call HTTP web service to other service like http://services.odata.org/Northwind/Northwind.svc/Customers.
Note : i am getting Request Status as OK

We have workflow manager 1.0(CU2) and service bus 1.1)(CU2) installed on a Win2k8R2 On-premise SharePoint 2013 farm. Workflow manager has been installed on 3 SharePoint servers in App layer .
Issue: We are observing intermittent errors like below in the event log on any of workflow server and it is happening in Pre-prod and Prod too . When this happens, the current workflow suspends and re-triggers a duplicate workflow for the same instance which resulting data corruption with duplicate instance as per our application functionality design .

Workflow Status codes
Hi,
I've setup a Workflow for a list. The workflow send and email. Intermittently the workflow gets the error: "The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly."
I want to perform an action for such error, but I'm not able to be aware that the error occurred. If I monitor the Status code (reported as a number into the column with the workflow name) after the e-mail command, the status is always "InProgress = 2", while if I monitor the status code after the workflow has completed the status code is always "Completed = 5".
Is there a way to monitor the Status code "ErrorOccurred = 3" by the workflow itself after the error occurred?

forgot certificate key!
I am moving the Workflow Manager to a new server. I installed the workflow manager on the new server, however when I am joining to the existing workflow manager farm, it is asking for the certificate key. The team that set up the original workflow manager
cannot find the certificate key. Is there a way to get the key or register a new key using PowerShell similar to when you forget the Farm Pass-phrase. If not, what would be a possible work-around or solution?

Workflow Manager - Service Bus installation fails
Hi All,
I am trying to install Workflow Manager in Offline mode. I downloaded the installables using Web Platform Installer I followed steps from here https://www.techtask.com/workflow-manager-1-0-offline-installation-sharepoint-server-2013/ however, I am receiving an error at the end of installation 'Service Bus 1.1 -- Downgrade of Service Bus 1.1 is not supported' However when I try to check Control Panel, I dont see Service Bus installed at all in the Programs list.
Has anyone faced such an issue before?

SharePoint 2013 Workflow Issue - The maximum entity size has been reached or exceeded for Topic
I am having an issue when starting a workflow. I receive an error message stating:
Something went wrong. To try again, reload the page and then start the workflow
Upon investigation of the logs I discovered the following error message:
Microsoft.Workflow.Client.WorkflowQuotaExceededException: Cannot start more instances because the size of the topic has exceeded the quota limit.
I've had a look in Event Viewer and found more detailed error information:

I have found a blog with the same issue however they are using Azure Service Bus as opposed to Service Bus for Windows. They suggest adjusting the TTL for the topic to 2 days but I have been unable to find out how to do this or if this will even help.

Workflow Manager WWW-Authenticate Negotiate: Unauthorized 401

i've been struggling with this error for the past few days, I have a sharepoint 2013 deployment and I have installed Workflow manager 1.0 with all updates (sharepoint also runs the latest updates and hot fixes.
I have enabled debugging on the workflow manager and each time I try to run Register-SPWorkflowService I open the log and find this error:

I have tried a different scope, tried to uninstall workflow manager and install it again, I tried to use a different server as my Workflow manager, I always get the same error.
I am running the user with full admin permissions on the workflow manager, sharepoint and the domain, its basically a super admin, I have searched everywhere and couldn't find a solution, please help!

I am attempted to setup workflow manager on an "all in one" test box where SharePoint 2013 and Workflow Manager are hosted on the same box.

Causes the above error. .
I am thinking I may need to re-install the workflow manager as I think I might of replaced the personal cert after I first installed it.

How to get SharePoint 2013 task (Who approved?)
I have created Visual Studio workflow in SharePoint 2013 on Workflow Manager 1.0. I have added composite task which is sending 3 people task parallel, completion criteria is "Wait for first response". So basically whoever response first, task will be completed and others will cancel email
It is sending default email Something like One
of your tasks was canceled and deleted. You do not need to take any further action on that task.
This don't make any sense. So I just wanted to send email that task
was approved or rejected by xyz user.
Now I was looking for how can I get outcome of the task with who completed task

ServiceBus-Configuration Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070422
Hello,
we currently have some problems with the Workflows in our Sharepoint (SP 2013 on Windows 2008 R2),none of them is starting. We have 3 servers in our farm: Farm-server; SQL-server; App-server.
It started some months ago, sometimes none of our workflows started and we found out that the servicebus-messagebroker-service got stucked on "starting". Normally restarting the service, by killing it with TaskManager and the start it again had done
the trick. Sometimes we had to restart the Farm-server or the App-server.
But since last week none of these methods helped, we always got a timeout error message from the service.
We then tried to reinstall the servicebus on our servers, by leaving the servicebus-farm, deinstall Servicebus 1.0, reinstall it and create/join the farm again. On our Apps-server it worked like a charm, but not on our Farm-server.
After the frist uninstall, all servicebus-services we still shown under Services, the folder under "C:\Program files" was already empty.
In another post we found the coresponding Registry-Paths (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Service Bus Gateway)and after deleting them + restart of the server, they were gone.
Then we tried to reinstall ServiceBus 1.0, the installation went without any trouble. But when we started the Configuration to rejoin the farm we got this Error:

We tried it both ways.
It then looks like the server is joined only halfway into the farm. The Windows Fabric service can be started by hand without any problems, but servicebus gateway and messagebroker are not listed under "Services".
Next step we tried was to deinstall ServiceBus 1.0 and Windows Fabric, but after restarting the server, the windows fabric-service ist only shown as disabled under "Services". Probably some Registry-Key left???
If we then reinstall ServiceBus 1.0, we get the same errors during configuration, using ServiceBus 1.1 didn´t helped either.
So right now we have an App-Server, where we could succesfully reinstall&reconfigure the ServiceBus, an SQL_Server, where it is installed but the server was never joined into the servicebusfarm. And our farm server where nearly nothing is working.
Oh the "workflow manager backend" service is running on the Farm- and Apps-server.
Any idea what else we could try.
