We are using SharePoint 2013 workflows. We are using list just to trigger workflows and delete the list item as first step in workflow because we are using that workflow to manage something else.
Now we cannot manage individual instances of workflows through powershell because all workflows are contained as child of list items.
We've seen that workflows continues to run in background however since list item is deleted, so how can we access that workflow ?!
There would be 5K to 6K workflows active concurrently in system as planned, we would like to avoid to keep that big list items just for nothing.
But if the list items are must then we would keep them. Any suggestion on this would be appreciated.
